Fuelled are delighted to announce that we have joined the 1% For The Planet community. In doing so, we pledge at least a percentage of our revenue to causes affecting humanity and the environment, for life.

Despite the 1% community now surpassing 5,000 globally, Fuelled become just the 2nd insurance company in the UK to make the commitment.

Since our inception, we have contributed to the planting of nearly 10,000 trees, the removal of nearly 50,000 items of plastic from world oceans, and offset over 400 tonnes of CO2 from the environment. This commitment will see us achieve even more in the years to come.

the Movement

1% For The Planet is about leaving the planet in a better place than how you found it.

1% for the Planet is a global organisation that exists to ensure our planet and future generations thrive. They act as an accountability partner for businesses supporting environmental partners through annual membership. They make environmental giving easy and effective through partnership advising, impact storytelling, and third-party certification.

Started in 2002 by Yvon Chouinard, founder of Patagonia, and Craig Mathews, founder of Blue Ribbon Flies, their members have given millions to environmental partners. Today, 1% for the Planet’s global network consists of thousands of businesses and environmental partners working toward a better future.

Our 1% Profile

We believe that insurance should be used as a vehicle to drive positive impact. That's why we commit 1% of our revenue to environmental and charitable causes and are proud members of the B Corp Movement.
